Faculty Position in Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for faculty positions in various ranks. We seek qualified individuals to teach courses within the undergraduate and graduate Electrical and Computer Engineering curriculum.

Qualifications

A PhD in engineering or a related field is required, but exceptions can be made for applicants with a Master's degree and pertinent expertise and work experience. Previous teaching and/or training experience is preferred. Industry work experience is considered an advantage. Applicants will need expertise and desire to teach in various areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering, including programming, software engineering, embedded systems, computer engineering, and computer system design.

Responsibilities

Successful candidates are expected to teach our diverse undergraduate and graduate student populations. They will be required to complete an Employment Eligibility Verification form and provide documents to verify identity and eligibility to work in the U.S. A security-sensitive background check will be conducted on the applicant selected.
