Electrical Engineer - Brain-Computer Interface Design

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in designing and developing cutting-edge brain-computer interface technology. As a key member of our implant team, you will be responsible for designing and integrating high-performance, safety-critical embedded systems for next-generation brain-computer interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop low-power, size-constrained systems for implant electronics
  • Collaborate with chip designers, firmware engineers, and mechanical engineers to ensure successful system integration
  • Conduct R&D investigations and experiments to demonstrate feasibility of new technology for the implant and charger
  • Drive system improvements to decrease latency and increase battery life, reliability, and safety
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong EE fundamentals and experience designing PCBs for low-power and size-constrained applications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience shipping devices through mass manufacturing
  • Fluency with PCB CAD tools (Altium, Eagle, KiCad, Allegro)
  • Experience with sensors, power management, and signal/power integrity
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with firmware development for embedded systems (C/C++)
  • Proficiency with ME CAD tools (Solidworks, AutoCAD)
