About the Position:

WEG Electric Corp. is excited to announce an opening for a Regional Sales Consultant to become a vital part of our team. This position is designed to provide essential support and direction to our clientele and external sales teams, ensuring an outstanding customer journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary liaison between WEG and our customers, guiding them and external teams through the intricacies of our operations to guarantee a seamless and comprehensive customer experience.
  • Handle and manage customer inquiries (via various communication channels) and actively engage all company resources to address customer needs effectively.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of WEG's product catalog to promptly and confidently assist with customer application requests.
  • Assess and manage inquiries to provide accurate pricing, stock availability, and necessary modifications or engineering specifications to present suitable product options.
  • Process customer orders (through multiple communication methods), ensuring all details are verified to support order precision, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively follow up on opportunities to confirm that all customer expectations are met.
  • Oversee all designated accounts to ensure the customer base aligns with company objectives.
  • Coordinate with and support a designated group of external sales representatives, focusing on eliminating barriers to enhance their capacity for new business development.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients and nurture those accounts until they transition to a team-managed account.
  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma and/or a minimum of 1 year of experience in customer support or external sales assistance.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Moderate understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer expectations.
  • Basic knowledge of products and their applications.
  • Familiarity with the product catalog.
  • Effective phone communication skills for customer interactions.
Experience:
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer support or assisting external sales teams.
