The Clinical Supervisor at Community Counseling Solutions is tasked with the daily management and guidance of clinical staff within the residential treatment facility. Under the collaborative leadership of the Residential Clinical Manager, this role is pivotal in ensuring that clinical practices align with established standards and regulations.
Supervision Structure:
This role reports directly to the Residential Clinical Manager and is responsible for overseeing the performance of assigned clinical personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver consistent clinical supervision and support to assigned clinicians, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of care.
- Stay informed about current evidence-based practices and ensure implementation within the team.
- Oversee the timely and professional completion of documentation by clinical staff.
- Provide emergency support services on a rotating basis, including crisis intervention and consultation.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of new clinical staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Address and resolve conflicts among staff while maintaining professional standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality assurance standards.
- Maintain a manageable caseload, providing individual, group, and family counseling services.
- Engage with community partners to promote service continuity and enhance the agency's reputation.
- Conduct regular meetings with clinical staff to facilitate communication and professional development.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
A Master's degree in psychology, sociology, or a related field, accompanied by five years of clinical service experience, with at least two years post-graduate.
Certifications:
Must possess or be eligible for certification as a Mental Health Investigator and a Protective Services Investigator.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of mental health diagnosis and treatment methodologies.
- Exceptional decision-making, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Understanding of relevant laws and regulations governing mental health services.
- Proficient in office software and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
Work Environment:
This position requires a balance of office-based tasks and community engagement, with potential exposure to various environments and situations.
