About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of our data centers, ensuring that they are built to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

You will work closely with our operations, networking, controls, security, and commissioning teams to build data centers that directly support our customers. Your leadership and management skills will be essential in driving the construction process, managing budgets, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the construction process, including project scope, quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Oversee construction project management and oversight of construction-related activities.
  • Work with partner teams to build data centers that meet our high standards for safety, security, and efficiency.
  • Lead and manage teams of construction professionals, including hiring, promoting, disciplining, and developing team members.
  • Represent Amazon's owner's representative on construction sites, interacting with construction trades and managing relationships with general contractors and vendors.
