Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients to and from hospital departments, including radiology, surgery, and laboratory services.
  • Deliver medical records, supplies, and medications to various departments as needed.
  • Assist with patient arrival and departure procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients and families.
  • Provide leadership and support to the Patient Transport team in the absence of the Manager, Patient Transport.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient transport services.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience in patient transport or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, medical records, and supplies as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
