The Assistant Teacher's primary duties include:

  • Assisting the Lead Teacher in preparing and implementing lesson plans based on the established curriculum.
  • Utilizing literacy and mathematics resources effectively with students.
  • Conducting small group and individualized learning activities.
Curriculum Implementation
  • Support the Lead Teacher's thematic studies and weekly objectives.
  • Familiarize yourself with the educational trajectory set by the Lead Teacher.
  • Create engaging literacy and math lessons that align with the school's educational philosophy.
  • Design language and cultural lessons that reflect the school's curriculum.
  • Communicate monthly objectives to families and colleagues.
  • Facilitate activities during before and after care that align with the school's educational approach.
  • Ensure all classroom materials and teaching methods are developmentally suitable.
  • Encourage children through stimulating interactions and resources.
  • Deliver lessons in an engaging and accessible manner.
