Regional Market President, West

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for healthcare innovation? Do you have a proven track record of driving business growth and clinical excellence in a complex matrixed environment? We're seeking a highly skilled Regional Market President to lead our West region and take our healthcare organization to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for the region, aligning with national goals and objectives.
- Drive financial performance, including budget development and management, to ensure in-year bottom-line commitments are met.
- Pursue aggressive growth through acquisition, partnership, recruitment, and innovative contracting models.
- Transform and change manage the practice, moving from fee-for-service to value-based care through risk-based models of care.
- Collaborate with national function owners, OptumCare leadership, and others to optimize clinical and business operations.
- Lead a team of professionals to deliver exceptional patient satisfaction, quality, and medical cost outcomes.
- Develop and execute plans to improve clinical quality, service, and medical cost.
- Solid visionary leadership skills, with a proven track record of executing vision and driving business transformation.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to recognize, prioritize, and evaluate market trends and growth opportunities.
- Deep understanding of medical/clinical leader and staff needs, mindsets, motivations, and dissatisfiers.
- Ability to turn around markets and drive enterprise value.
- Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues, physicians, and teammates to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Viewed as a leader in the health system community.
- Ambitious and initiative-taking, with the ability to identify meaningful goals and capture the imagination of others.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a complex matrixed environment, exhibiting enterprise thinking and driving enterprise value.
- Deep understanding of healthcare plans, fee-for-service vs. value-based care, and global risk and full delegation.
- 15+ years of progressive management experience in healthcare leadership, with a balanced focus on business and clinical operations and patient satisfaction.
- Significant P&L accountability, with experience leading multi-market, multi-specialty care delivery organizations.
