The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) is excited to announce an opening for a Vice President of Regional Operations within our Accounting and Finance Division.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
Managing the preparation, processing, posting, verification, and recording of client payments and transactions linked to accounts receivable.
Conducting follow-ups on all overdue invoices, including sending reminders and making collection calls.
Assisting in the completion and tracking of W-9 forms for 1099 reporting.
Maintaining organized files in compliance with company policies for all entities.
Performing data entry as required for necessary governmental reporting.
Reviewing and reconciling accounts receivable reports on a monthly basis.
Generating ad hoc reports as necessary.
Delivering exceptional customer service both internally and externally by responding promptly to inquiries.
Qualifications for this role include:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or similar software.
Experience with accounting software; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP or Sage Intacct is preferred but not mandatory.
Prior experience in multi-company accounting is advantageous.
Comprehensive understanding of cash receipt and disbursement processes.
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and MVR check.
