Job OverviewAs a State Farm Agent Team Member, you will play a vital role in building and developing customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products, including auto, home, and life insurance. Your primary responsibility will be to work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services. You will also be responsible for maintaining a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day. As an Agent Team Member, you will receive a competitive hourly pay plus commission/bonus, simple IRA, valuable experience, and growth potential/Opportunity for advancement within the agency. Requirements include sales experience, a successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas, excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiasm about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams, self-motivation, detail orientation, ability to make presentations to potential customers, and the ability to obtain Property and Casualty and Life and Health licenses. Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to make presentations to potential customers.
  • Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain).
  • Life and Health license (must be able to obtain).
