We are seeking a Fully Remote Senior Electrical Engineer to collaborate with a team of both junior and senior engineers in the innovative design of cutting-edge industrial and manufacturing facilities for leading global enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:
The following duties are representative of the role but are not exhaustive. Responsibilities encompass those necessary to deliver exceptional service on time and within budget in a team-oriented setting.

  • Assume complete technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating substantial engineering projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, quality control, and inter-discipline collaboration. This includes, but is not limited to, the stamping/sealing of one's drawings/documents as well as those prepared under one's professional oversight as defined by applicable jurisdictional statutes.
  • May plan and develop engineering initiatives addressing unique or contentious challenges, offering specialized knowledge and expertise in a specific engineering domain.
  • Maintain communication with individuals both within and outside the organization, exercising independent judgment on technical matters relevant to the chosen field.
  • Receive primarily administrative supervision, with assignments framed in broad general objectives and parameters.
  • May plan, organize, supervise, and review the work of a team of engineers and designers engaged on the same project.
  • Actively participate in client interactions and business development efforts. Prepare or oversee the preparation of contract proposals and engage in presentations.
  • Regularly meet with clients to define project scope, present progress updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Make decisions regarding major items related to materials, equipment, manufacturer's quality, and field construction.
  • Maintain ongoing professional education as required by the voluntary or mandatory regulations of registered states.
  • Travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and full professional registration are mandatory.
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant practical experience is required.
  • Experience may be considered in lieu of professional licensure at the sole discretion of SSOE.
  • Salary Range: $125,000-150,000/year, dependent on location, education, experience, and relevant certifications.
  • A valid driver's license is required, which may be waived for international assignments.
