We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team at Gravity IT Resourcing. This role involves a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to the success of our engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research, design, and development of electrical systems and components within a manufacturing context.
  • Create detailed technical drawings and specifications to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Engage with project stakeholders, including leadership, clients, and suppliers, to facilitate engineering initiatives.
  • Oversee manufacturing, construction, maintenance, and testing processes to align with project specifications and client expectations.
  • Design, implement, and enhance electrical instruments and systems to improve operational efficiency.
  • Draft specifications for material and equipment procurement.
  • Address customer inquiries and propose effective solutions.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful completion.
  • Develop and execute research methodologies tailored for engineering projects.
  • Uphold safety regulations and maintain a secure work environment.
  • Possess the authority to halt production in the event of unsafe conditions.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 6-10 years of relevant engineering experience or training.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency with manufacturing technologies, including Allen-Bradley Processors, Fanuc Robotics, and Panasonic Robots.
  • Strong foundation in engineering principles and technology applications.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Understanding of business and management principles for effective strategic planning.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
