About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our Water/Wastewater team in Austin, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from start to close-out, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and proposals to deliver high-quality results.
  • Direct and manage project implementation, including coordination with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
  • Mentor junior staff members to support their professional development.
  • Prepare technical memoranda, planning studies, and final design calculations, plans, and specifications.
  • Oversee construction phases of projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate health and safety policies and quality management systems.
  • Prepare proposals and qualification documents to secure new assignments.
  • Maintain client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
Requirements
  • BA/BS + 6 years of relevant Project Management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Professional Engineer License in Texas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in design of water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure.
  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Experience with Central Texas-area clients.
  • Experience working with clients in both the public and private sectors.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities and work schedules.
