Role Summary

The Shipping Coordinator is tasked with the essential duty of packaging and dispatching products from the facility while fostering positive relationships with team members. The primary objective of this role is to deliver exceptional service and support to both external and internal clients, ensuring timely shipment of products that meet all quality standards at optimal value for the organization.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Basic mathematical skills, equivalent to high school arithmetic
  • Fundamental computer proficiency
  • Experience with Shipping Software is advantageous (e.g., UPS, FedEx, etc.)
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Reliable and consistent attendance
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute all fundamental shipping tasks, including packing, labeling, and completing all necessary internal documentation, as well as constructing crates.
  • Collaborate with all company personnel to ensure that both internal and customer shipping requirements are fulfilled.
  • Prepare items for processing, inspect for imperfections and discrepancies, document findings, and verify revisions on the processing orders.
  • Engage with Quality Assurance teams regarding customer shipping specifications.
  • Coordinate with purchasing teams concerning processes and subcontract purchase orders.
  • Construct shipping crates according to customer specifications.
  • Generate all necessary barcodes and documentation for product shipment.
  • Communicate shipment details to the Contracts Management department.
  • Maintain records using Microsoft Excel.
