Job Opportunity

St. Charles Community College is seeking a dedicated and results-driven College Recruiter/Navigator to promote our institution to outside entities, recruit prospective students, and assist students with the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit prospective students and establish relationships with local high schools and service area high schools.
  • Meet target recruitment and enrollment goals, with a focus on assigned recruitment territory.
  • Organize and conduct annual college fairs and other campus events to engage with prospective students.
  • Promote and execute recruitment programs in high schools, including the BeReady program.
  • Assist with registration at high schools and promote the A+ Program as a recruitment tool.
  • Attend community events and outside-sponsored college fairs to represent St. Charles Community College.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Department to develop college brochures and publications.
  • Utilize recruitment CRM software to recruit and convert students.
  • Provide follow-up communication to prospective students after initial contact.
  • Coordinate with Workforce Development staff to recruit corporate tuition reimbursement participants and other non-traditional prospective student markets.
  • Work with Student Ambassadors to support campus tours.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to higher education.
  • One year or more of related experience and/or training.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Professional appearance and ability to interact with people of all ages, backgrounds, and personalities.
  • Evening and weekend hours required during peak times and at special events.
