  • Provide training on cooking techniques, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Regularly assess food quality and consistency through taste tests and visual inspections.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all production and service areas, as well as uphold employee appearance standards.
  • Manage food inventory forecasting and maintenance.
  • Enforce compliance with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Verify that food deliveries meet quality standards, ensuring proper storage and handling.
  • Implement company policies and procedures effectively.
  • Uphold the quality and reputation of the Gyu-Kaku brand.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience as a kitchen supervisor in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Experience in an Asian tabletop BBQ setting is advantageous.
  • Strong culinary skills are essential.
  • Understanding of food costs, scheduling, purchasing, and labor cost control is necessary.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Excellent leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Certification in Food Management and Food Handling is preferred.
