About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to join our team at ABB. As a critical member of our Systems and Electrical team, you will work on developing world-class mission-critical power protection equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and simulate power electronic subsystems for mission-critical power protection applications
  • Perform complex technology and engineering assignments using advanced and innovative techniques
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop cutting-edge solutions
  • Provide consulting services to business operations and customers
  • Generate technical drawings and documentation for systems, components, and interfaces
Requirements
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required
  • 2 years' experience with engineering design software, such as Altium, AutoCAD, eCAD
  • Experience in digital and analog circuit design and simulation
  • Experience with PCB design (high-speed communication board, power board, etc.) preferred
