Customer Engagement Representative

This role serves as a vital support function for our showroom team, with the potential to evolve into a full-time sales position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert assistance in product selection and design advice to showroom clientele.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction to meet or exceed established sales and profit objectives.
- Manage incoming calls, greet customers, and handle customer service inquiries.
- Perform order entry, provide price quotes, and qualify customer needs.
- Offer clerical support to the sales team, demonstrating strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Deliver accurate information regarding product specifications, suitability, pricing, and availability.
- Process sales orders and bids, expedite purchases, and maintain communication with customers for timely order fulfillment.
- Handle showroom sale returns and associated paperwork in accordance with company policies.
- Cultivate positive relationships with vendors and manufacturers to facilitate a seamless sales process.
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date product literature file for customer reference.
- Ensure the showroom is clean, well-stocked, and safely displayed.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
- In-depth knowledge of product and design trends in the kitchen and bath industry, with the ability to recommend complementary products and services.
- Proficient in identifying customer needs and providing effective solutions to close sales.
- Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and highly organized in work activities.
