Job Summary

Flex-N-Gate is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our company assets, employees, guests, and others on company property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate with supervisors, peers, and subordinates to ensure a smooth and secure work environment.
  • Information Gathering: Gather and analyze information to identify potential security threats and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Interpersonal Relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and secure work environment.
  • Decision Making: Make informed decisions and solve problems in a timely and effective manner to ensure the safety and security of our company assets and personnel.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others to maintain a peaceful and secure work environment.
  • Security Activities: Follow organizational security activities and processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Report Writing: Prepare reports related to security matters to ensure accurate and timely communication of security incidents and trends.
  • Physical Demands: Possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license, perform interior and exterior patrols, work in various weather conditions, stand for prolonged periods, and lift up to 60 pounds as needed.
Qualifications
  • Security Background: A minimum of 2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Highly motivated, service-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve security-related issues.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals and objectives.
