The Alexa Enterprise Products team is in search of a dedicated and innovative Senior Applied Scientist with a robust background in machine learning. This role involves spearheading the design and execution of cutting-edge ML systems tailored for Alexa's enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Applied Scientist, you will be instrumental in advancing the development of conversational agents, particularly those leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) that adhere to enterprise-level standards. You will tackle Amazon-scale challenges that significantly enhance customer experiences.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing machine learning models for commercial applications.
- PhD or a Master’s degree accompanied by 6+ years of applied research experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Familiarity with neural deep learning techniques and machine learning methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with modeling frameworks including R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, TensorFlow, numpy, and scipy.
- Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems like Hadoop and Spark.

Compensation:
Our compensation structure reflects the labor costs across various US geographic markets. Amazon offers a comprehensive total compensation package that may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
