Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive program of activities and events that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that programs are aligned with our community's mission and values.
- Recruit and manage a team of volunteers and staff to support program delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal resident engagement and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in program development and delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as therapeutic recreation or gerontology.
- 2-4 years of experience in resident programming, including Assisted Living, Memory Care, and older adults experiencing cognitive change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and volunteers.
- Proven track record in program development and implementation, with a focus on resident engagement and satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and customer service.
