Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and oversee the work of Room Attendants to ensure high standards of cleanliness and productivity.
  • Assume all Housekeeping Manager functions in their absence, including inspecting VIP rooms and reporting their availability to the Front Office.
  • Oversee the closing of floors at the end of the day, ensuring Room Attendants' carts are clean and restocked.
  • Monitor and maintain key control, handle lost and found items, and ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of Room Attendants' carts and linen closets.
  • Train and develop Housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is a plus.
  • At least two to three years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and guests.
