Family Law Paralegal Opportunity

Yuri Bazan Law Firm LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our clients and contributing to the success of our firm.

Job Summary:
  • Conduct in-depth research on statutes, case law, and other related regulations regarding family law in Colorado.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Manage communication with clients, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
  • Attend and handle client meetings, court hearings, and mediation sessions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest ethical standards in all client interactions.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients seeking civil protection orders, custody, and divorce matters.
  • Conduct research and analysis of complex legal issues.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
Requirements:
  • Licensed Legal Paraprofessional certification in Colorado is required.
  • Strong organizational, research, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in a law firm, with a focus on family law.
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Ability to learn new computer skills with appropriate training.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills preferred but not required.
