We are seeking dedicated individuals for the role of a part-time paraprofessional to assist K-12 special education students throughout Colorado Springs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with licensed educators to provide academic support and adaptations.
- Assist with self-care and address social/behavioral needs of students in both individual and group settings.
- Make a meaningful contribution to the development of children in special education.
Compensation and Schedule
This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15 to $20, with weekly payments. The work schedule is flexible, requiring no weekend commitments, and will vary based on your availability within the hours of 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children.
- Professional proficiency in English is necessary.
- US Work Authorization is required; sponsorship for employment visas or relocation assistance is not available at this time.
- Previous experience in special education and crisis prevention training is preferred.
