Key Responsibilities:

  • Manually handle materials, components, tools, and supplies, as well as operate power equipment such as cranes and forklifts for lifting and moving items.
  • Prepare products for shipment according to established guidelines and assist in completing necessary shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Load and unload materials following standard protocols and support the loading/unloading of transport vehicles.
  • Monitor, maintain, and accurately record product inventory, achieving a cycle counting accuracy of 95% or higher.
  • Sort, pick, and issue materials for jobs while ensuring proper documentation and database management.
  • Safely and effectively utilize a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Engage in various tasks related to shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Adhere to deadlines while prioritizing safety.
  • Maintain a tidy and secure work area, following all safety protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • 10-hour or 8-hour shifts
  • Day shift with potential for future second shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Occasional weekends may be required to meet operational demands.

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating forklifts and/or heavy machinery is essential.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, bills of materials, and work orders.
  • Familiarity with ERP software is preferred.
  • General computer skills, particularly with MS Windows applications.
  • Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills are encouraged.
  • Flexibility in job duties to meet operational and customer needs.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull 100 pounds, adhering to safety guidelines.
