Position Overview

Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig (DBL) is a comprehensive national law firm dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services to our clients. We are currently in search of a Legal Support Specialist who will also undertake office coordination responsibilities to enhance our operations in the Vienna, VA office. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of litigation processes, exhibit the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and thrive in a high-pressure environment. This position demands adaptability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to maintaining an organized and effective workspace.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, affidavits, and motions.
  • Organize and oversee case files, manage deadlines, and maintain attorney schedules.
  • Conduct thorough legal research.
  • Summarize and evaluate legal documents to aid in case preparation.
  • Engage with clients to collect necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
  • Support the preparation of materials for trial.
  • Facilitate support during trial proceedings, including document organization and logistical management.
  • Provide management and support for the Tysons office.
  • Act as the coordinator for internal meetings/events, assist with vendor visits, and oversee office maintenance and staffing coordination.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Proficient in legal research, document management, and case management software.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
