Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider Ambassador, Gastroenterology will be responsible for proactively engaging with healthcare providers at a local level to identify marketplace needs, provide disease state and product education, and support healthcare providers in the appropriate utilization of JJIM access and fulfillment resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize company-approved materials to deliver disease state education covering topics such as pathophysiology, diagnostic modalities, treatment options, and patient care.
  • Deliver on-label product education to support the appropriate utilization of company-approved products.
  • As needed, deliver unbranded or branded speaker programs in small or large group settings.
  • Educate and champion the utilization of JJIM Access and Fulfillment resources to drive optimal patient experience and care.
  • Engage with target customers, including APP societies and advocacy organizations, in or outside of office settings, including conferences to uncover marketplace needs.
  • Continuously and compliantly collaborate with field teams and home office marketing teams to shape local execution and APP-specific strategies and materials.
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree as either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • 3+ years of experience as a NP or PA actively engaged in Gastroenterology/Inflammatory Bowel Disease patient care.
  • Track record of building productive, collaborative relationships with individuals of varied educational backgrounds and performing different roles within an ecosystem.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to set, pursue, and achieve goals/results.
  • Superior communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent follow-through.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including some weekend conferences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NP or PA experience working in both institutional/academic settings and community offices.
  • Strong knowledge as it relates to payer approval processes and solid business acumen.
  • Ability to translate customer feedback into potential solutions.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Success exhibiting peer leadership, mentorship, and coaching.
  • Genuine interest and demonstrated competence in learning and adopting new technologies.
Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $134,000 to $192,050. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company-sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program. Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year, sick time – up to 40 hours per calendar year, holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year, and Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year.
