What You Will DoR&D and Applications

Develop application formulas using Scoular ingredients. Compile results in reports. Support R&D Scientist on customer projects by ordering and prepping ingredients.

Technical Development

Learn about ingredient functionality through independent research, communicating with Supplier Development Manager and supplier partners, develop test methods, and perform functionality tests in house to validate learnings.

Quality and Regulatory

Develop an understanding of ingredient quality and regulatory functions through engaging with Scoular's Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory group.

Project Management

Complete other assigned project(s) under direction of the R&D Manager and R&D Scientist.

Requirements

Who You Are:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
  • Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • A strong communicator with a customer service mindset.
  • Comfortable working in high volume environment and managing multiple tasks.
  • Quick to identify a problem and find the best solution.
  • Curious and creative, being flexible and innovative in your approach.
  • An emerging leader with experience leading in clubs, athletics, projects, or student government.
  • Active in the community giving back on campus, your hometown, or on a global scale.
