Personal Injury Attorney Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join our team in Manhattan. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and high-profile personal injury cases, providing superior legal representation to our clients who have been victims of personal injury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in all stages of personal injury litigation, from initial meetings to trial.
  • Conduct thorough case investigations to identify potential legal claims and defendants.
  • Draft and file complaints and other legal documents, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
  • Handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
  • Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
  • Engage in motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions.
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for trial, and represent clients at trial.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other parties.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a plaintiff's personal injury attorney.
  • Proven track record of success in personal injury litigation, including favorable settlements and verdicts.
  • Experience with medical malpractice cases is a plus.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle a high case load and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent client service skills, with an emphasis on communication and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
