We are currently in search of a knowledgeable and dedicated Immigration Attorney to provide expert legal representation in immigration-related matters.

Position Overview:

As an Immigration Attorney, your role will involve advocating for clients in various immigration proceedings, offering legal guidance, preparing necessary documentation, and representing clients before government entities and courts. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of immigration law, exceptional advocacy skills, and a genuine passion for helping clients navigate their immigration challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Client Advocacy: Represent clients in immigration court and before agencies such as USCIS and DHS.
• Legal Consultation: Provide expert legal advice on immigration matters, including rights and responsibilities.
• Documentation Management: Draft, review, and submit immigration petitions, applications, motions, and other legal documents.
• Case Oversight: Manage a portfolio of immigration cases, ensuring compliance with deadlines and keeping clients informed.
• Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and remain updated on immigration laws and regulations.
• Client Engagement: Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates and addressing their inquiries professionally.
• Strategic Advocacy: Develop effective legal strategies and arguments to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with paralegals, support staff, and fellow attorneys to deliver holistic legal services.
• Community Involvement: Engage in community outreach initiatives and educate the public about immigration law and the services offered by the firm.
• Confidentiality Assurance: Handle sensitive client information with the utmost discretion and adhere to ethical standards of confidentiality.
• Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks to support the firm's operations as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensure: Must be licensed to practice law in any U.S. state (Florida bar admission preferred).
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in immigration law is highly desirable.
• Language Proficiency: Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
• Interpersonal Skills: Professional demeanor with strong client relationship skills.
• Legal Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of immigration law, procedures, and documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: Starting salary at $80,000 per year (negotiable based on experience)

Expected Work Hours: 40 hours per week

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
