Position Overview:

The Immigration Attorney will serve as a strong advocate for clients navigating various immigration processes. This role involves providing legal guidance, preparing necessary documentation, and representing clients in front of governmental bodies and courts. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of immigration law, exceptional advocacy capabilities, and a genuine desire to assist clients with their immigration challenges.

Core Responsibilities:

• Client Advocacy: Represent clients in immigration hearings and before relevant agencies.
• Legal Counsel: Offer specialized legal advice regarding immigration rights and responsibilities.
• Documentation: Prepare, review, and submit immigration petitions, applications, and motions.
• Case Oversight: Manage a diverse caseload of immigration cases, ensuring timely updates and communication with clients.
• Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies and remain informed on immigration regulations.
• Client Interaction: Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing case updates and addressing any questions.
• Strategic Advocacy: Develop and implement effective legal strategies to secure favorable outcomes.
• Team Collaboration: Work in conjunction with paralegals and other legal professionals to provide thorough legal services.
• Community Involvement: Engage in outreach initiatives to educate the community about immigration law and the services offered by the firm.
• Confidentiality: Manage sensitive client information with the utmost discretion and adhere to ethical standards.
• Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks to facilitate the firm’s operations.

Qualifications:

• Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law institution.
• Licensure: Must be licensed to practice law in any U.S. state (Florida bar admission preferred).
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in immigration law is highly desirable.
• Language Proficiency: Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
• Interpersonal Skills: Professional demeanor with strong relationship-building capabilities.
• Legal Acumen: In-depth knowledge of immigration law and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $80,000 per year (negotiable based on experience)

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
