About the Role

At NDX Human Capital Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Solutions Developer to join our team. As a key member of our packaging team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative packaging solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of our customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaboration with Sales Team:
    • Identify customer needs and develop appropriate packaging solutions.
    • Participate in the pricing evaluation of the solutions.
  • Design and Development:
    • Create innovative packaging concepts.
    • Provide technical expertise and support to the customers and sales team during the implementation of packaging solutions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with teams such as sales, production, procurement, and R&D to meet project objectives.

Key Tasks

  • Business Acquisition Management:
    • Coordinate activities with cross-functional teams.
    • Ensure proper production and quality control processes with manufacturing teams.
    • Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
  • Development of Packaging Solutions:
    • Design packaging solutions based on customer requirements.
    • Utilize CAD software for detailed packaging specifications.
    • Conduct cost analyses for optimal packaging solutions.
    • Evaluate prototypes and confirm alignment with customer specifications and cost calculations.
  • Customer Collaboration:
    • Work closely with customers to understand their packaging requirements.
    • Provide technical expertise and support in selecting suitable packaging solutions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, quality control, and sales teams.
    • Address technical challenges, incorporate feedback, and optimize designs.
  • Technical Support:
    • Serve as a technical resource for customers, sales teams, and production staff.
    • Assist with troubleshooting product or packaging issues.
  • Feasibility studies:
    • Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of proposed packaging solutions.
    • Analyze material costs, manufacturing capabilities, transportation considerations, and environmental impacts.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Monitor market trends, technological advancements, and industry best practices.
    • Identify areas for improvement and explore innovative packaging techniques.
  • Documentation and Communication:
    • Develop technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in the packaging industry, preferably in a technical or engineering role.
    • Proven experience with CAD software for packaging design
