Job OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team at Ohio Heating & Refrigeration in Columbus, Ohio.Key Responsibilities

As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of commercial chillers, boilers, and controls, as well as residential HVAC systems.

You will operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on HVAC equipment, and document service performed as well as recommendations made by completing forms, reports, logs, and/or records.

You will also observe safety and security procedures, determine appropriate action beyond guidelines, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience and/or education in HVAC or other related fields
  • Ability to work with minimal oversight and follow directions when provided
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes in your work environment
  • Possess exceptional work ethics as well as uphold company values

You will also need:

  • A valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Be physically able to complete the tasks at hand
  • A valid EPA certification
  • Must pass a background check and random drug testing
