About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Baxter Auto Group. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and establishing partnerships within the automotive industry to source top talent for our dealerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract and retain top automotive technicians.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local community organizations, events, high schools, colleges, and technical schools to identify potential candidates.
  • Collaborate with local Recruiting Coordinators to identify and participate in automotive technician recruiting events.
  • Provide support to stores on full cycle recruiting when needed.
  • Partner with the full Talent Acquisition team to establish and coordinate a group-wide talent community and effectively communicate with that community.
  • Travel locally and/or regionally to attend events or store visits in assigned area(s).

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of store operations, HR, and/or Talent Acquisition leadership experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of EEO laws and regulations related to talent acquisition required.
  • Knowledge of effective sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing approaches for large, distributed workforces and multi-site, multi-state operations preferred.
