About the Organization

Our client, a respected leader in providing consumer loans to employees, is looking for an accountant with financial services experience to join their accounting team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing FinTech firm that values innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Controller with month-end close activities, including journal entries and financial statement preparation
  • Stay up-to-date with accounting practices and policies, and recommend process improvements
  • Handle reconciliations and monitor Accounts Receivable duties, including aging reports
  • Perform ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Controller or Director of Finance
Requirements
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Financial services experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • XERO experience is a plus
