About the Real Estate Company
- Creative Financial Staffing is working with a Real Estate and Investment firm as they seek an Accountant to join their team.
- The company boasts one of the largest real estate portfolios in the US, with over 450 properties including retail, residential, office, and hotel buildings.
- This role reports to the Controller and Assistant Controller and requires daily in-office presence in Jersey City, NJ.
- Competitive Salary, Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Commuter Benefits.
- Preparing monthly reports on the Commercial property business, including all active properties the firm works with.
- Reviewing budgets for construction, including conducting monthly requisitions for contractors.
- Complying with the development of accounting policies and procedures.
- Complying with internal controls policies and procedures.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in Real Estate.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA or MBA is a plus.
- Experience working with an ERP system such as Yardi, MRI or Deltek is a plus; strong Excel skills.
