Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Digital Finishing Operator to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of commercial label inspector machines, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate commercial label inspector machines, including visual quality control
  • Slit continuous lengths of printed material into strips of the specified width
  • Receive job assignments from supervisors and review job jackets to ensure all finishing, packaging, and shipping specifications are addressed
  • Inspect products to ensure quality integrity and perform preventative maintenance on machines
  • Replace blades on inspection machines, complete paperwork for each job, and package finished goods for shipment
Requirements
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, printing, machine operation, or packaging industry
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and read and interpret ruler, scales, and other measurement devices
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance
