Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our team at DCM Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling the dispensary's inventory of cannabis products and related supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ordering, receiving, storing, and tracking of inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Monitor product quality, expiration dates, and inventory turnover rates.
- Implement inventory management systems and conduct regular audits to optimize inventory control processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast inventory needs and plan accordingly.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Audit inventory levels weekly and report needed products to operations according to ordering SOP.
- Regularly perform METRC and POS audits and verify data for accuracy.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Implement inventory management best practices to optimize inventory control.
- Optimize storage space utilization and organization to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure store compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Effectively communicate inventory status, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ensure the store remains compliant with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge.
- Provide education for employees about different cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates, and consumption mechanisms.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Sales Management, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics (Bachelor's Degree Preferred).
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience that demonstrates growth and/or advancement in complexity, difficulty, or level of responsibility.
- Minimum of three (3) years of managerial experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of inventory management experience, with two (2) years of cannabis experience preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of METRC experience.
- Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve, personal integrity, and business acumen.

Work Schedule/Location:
- On-site 5 days a week.
