About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team at Consumer Legal Group. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a critical role in driving our mission to assist Americans in fighting their debt and achieving financial freedom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the team, including caseload, coaching, meetings, advising, preparing for trials, organizing caseload, research, drafting or reviewing documents, and representing clients in negotiations or court.
  • Develop and lead a strong team of paralegals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success.
  • Represent and grow your own caseload, particularly complex cases, to continue your practice as an attorney.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Partner and other leadership to help translate team goals and priorities into strategic plans.
  • Advise on more complex and escalated cases, providing expert guidance and support to clients.
  • Report on key operational and substantive metrics for the practice, informing decision-making and driving improvement.
  • Stay current on the latest industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in our practice.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctorate required.
  • Barred and in good standing in NY required.
  • 2-3 years of Litigation experience.
  • 2-3 years of drafting experience.
  • Managerial or leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in a start-up or small business a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities within tight time constraints.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written, and presentation skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with a sense of urgency.
