Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and create badge accounts for personnel.
- Oversee access control for designated areas and secure containers.
- Facilitate the fingerprinting process for personnel.
- Conduct security awareness training for facility staff, covering essential topics such as security indoctrination and access protocols.
- Provide visitor management support, including badging, escorting, and conducting security checks.
- Process classified communications, ensuring proper documentation and receipt management.
- Administer campus document control activities, ensuring compliance with security protocols for classified materials.
- Conduct the destruction of classified documents in accordance with established guidelines.
- Assist in annual inventories of sensitive materials and documents.
- Support the Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) with construction and certification of secure areas.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in performing assigned duties. Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and excellent customer service and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in standard software applications such as Word and Excel is also required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with security management systems such as SIMS, NISS, and DISS is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits:
The full-time salary range for this position is approximately $91,300. Individual salaries are determined based on various factors, including market conditions and candidate qualifications.
