Bilingual Therapeutic Mentor Position

Eliot is seeking a Bilingual Therapeutic Mentor to provide positive role modeling, engage youth in activities, and meet with them and their families in their home.
Responsibilities:
- Offer youth structured, one-to-one, strength-based support services for daily living, social, and communication needs.
- Assist youth in developing communication skills, enhancing conflict resolution skills, and teaching pro-social strategies through targeted activities.
- Support, coach, and train youth in age-appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
- Expose youth to social situations to acquire and practice age-appropriate skills through role-playing and behavioral rehearsals.
- Provide services to youth in the home and community.
- Meet with youth's family to share skill-building activities, update on progress, and engage in treatment goals.
- Meet established productivity targets.
Requirements:
- Self-directed, motivated, creative, and experienced in mentoring youth.
- Acquire training in areas that enhance skill base, including Wraparound, Community Resources and Services, Trauma-Informed Care, behavior management support, and interventions.
Pay rate: $23.59 per hour (includes a 6% bilingual incentive).
