Lynn, Massachusetts, United States Eliot's Full time

At Eliot, we are seeking a passionate and empowering Therapeutic Mentor to support resiliency for clients through the Wraparound Approach.

The single most common factor for children who develop resilience is at least one stable and committed relationship with a supportive parent, caregiver, or other adult.

National Scientific Council on the Developing Child states that Young Children Develop in an Environment of Relationships: Working Paper No. 1.

As a Therapeutic Mentor, you would be making a difference by working one-on-one with youth in the community to help them identify strengths and build their competencies while having fun.

You would work with the youth to understand their needs and be their voice until they can find their own.

Your responsibilities would include weekly visits with the youth in the community, weekly contact with the family and care planning team, and ongoing treatment planning.

You will be supported through ongoing education, training, and consistent weekly supervision.

You will have the opportunity to learn and work collaboratively with various child serving agencies.

Eliot is committed to employee growth and retention, offering a comprehensive benefit package including professional development, tuition reimbursement, supervision toward professional licensure, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth or internal transfers.

The schedule is varied, and the pay is $21.63/hour.

Eliot is committed to identifying and dismantling barriers that prevent people with marginalized racial identities from actualizing their full employment potential.
