Position: Construction Project Supervisor - Data Centers

Job Overview:

The Construction Project Supervisor is responsible for directing the workflow of construction projects on-site, ensuring adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards set by HITT. This role involves providing leadership and acting as the primary liaison among project team members, promoting the interests of both the business and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the HITT safety program, ensuring all subcontractors comply and that incidents are reported and investigated promptly.
  • Uphold HITT quality standards throughout all project phases.
  • Lead on-site safety initiatives, fostering a secure work environment for all personnel.
  • Maintain a daily log of activities and site conditions, managing the punch list and closeout process.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to develop and adhere to project schedules, ensuring proper installation methods are followed.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors and the community to enhance business opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of work orders and tickets, understanding subcontractor scopes to minimize change orders.
  • Organize the site team and arrange for necessary temporary facilities and utilities.
  • Work closely with the project manager and site operations team throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, particularly with a general contractor.
  • Experience with tenant renovations and fast-paced projects is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of building processes and best practices.
  • Ability to effectively manage resources to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or project lead role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in software systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam.
  • OSHA 30 Certification is preferred.
  • Physical ability to walk or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professionalism.
  • Demonstrated integrity and alignment with HITT's core values.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and maintain respectful relationships.
