Job Summary

As a Sr. Technical Services Manager at Glanbia Nutritionals, you will play a key role in driving product quality and innovation. This permanent, full-time position will report to the Sr. Director - Technical Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee both short-term and long-term projects, prioritizing based on quality, time, cost, and other critical variables.
  • Promote safety, work closely with EH&S department, and comply with safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Manage the support for existing plant processes and the development of new processes for manufacturing new products.
  • Ensure optimization of cleaning systems to minimize loss and enhance the overall control of chemicals, products, and water.
  • Facilitate New Product Testing: Facilitate and execute in-plant testing of new products ensuring full validation and operational readiness.
  • Provide production technical guidance to the technical staff and contribute to the development of business objectives for the department of innovation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field with eight years of practical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in collecting and analyzing data, defining problems, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision while remaining productive.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, and report all unsafe activities.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints, write reports, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%.
