Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Argus Technical Services. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and products that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and products using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other engineering tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, manufacturing, and customer service, to ensure that our products meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate engineering drawings and layouts, including Bill of Materials (BOMs).
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure that our products meet regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Travel to job sites and factories to measure physical dimensions and observe production line processes.
Requirements
  • Associate degree and 2 years of experience using SolidWorks and engineering design software, or Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • General mechanical skills and ability to follow safety guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates or higher degree in Mechanical Design or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering design or project management.
  • Experience with robotics and fluid management.
  • Technical writing skills, including the creation of manuals, work instructions, and flyers.
