We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at eTeam Inc. as a Subsidies and Commissions Analyst.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute multiple complex carrier commission contracts, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition.
  • Own, raise, and resolve day-to-day revenue discrepancies with multiple carriers, collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute processes within agreed timeframes.
  • Work closely with various internal functional teams and external partners to drive accurate revenue and credits, identifying innovation and efficiencies to evolve productivity and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain system automation, process improvements, and operational metrics, driving business growth and efficiency.
  • Build strong business relationships with Carriers and internal functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Identify data analytics and trends in billing or dispute transactional data, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Perform monthly close processes, including revenue adjustments, reserve analysis, and system reconciliations, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliance with GAAP and SOX controls.
  • Support drafting business requirements for system enhancements and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) on projects, ensuring seamless system integration and user adoption.
  • Collaborate with Information Systems & Technology, Order-to-Cash, Finance, and Sales groups to identify root causes, develop sustainable processes, and ensure accurate results.
Requirements
  • BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with an MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of related working experience in finance, accounting, or a similar field.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality and detailed work within deadlines.
  • Proven ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail when problem-solving.
  • Robust analytical skills, with strong business acumen.
  • Experience reconciling multiple accounts and proficient in Excel functions.
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with cross-functional and external resources.
  • Strong teamwork and project-related skills, ensuring informed communication across multiple functions.
  • Ability to develop and drive process improvement, system automation, and operational metrics.
  • Experience with SAP, Accounting, and Tableau is a plus.
