Your expertise will be essential in developing program goals and objectives, as well as teaching all phases of the curriculum. This position requires a strong commitment to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Provide instruction to students in the classroom and lab settings
* Prepare syllabi and lesson plans
* Demonstrate the use of appropriate teaching techniques, testing and grading procedures
* Effective use of oral and written communications skills and knowledge of current in-field procedures
* Follow approved course syllabus
* Maintain program requirements, attend/complete all professional development training
* Meet with students and college personnel to discuss students' instructional programs and other issues
* Evaluate student progress in attaining goals and objectives
* Complete all reports, records, and invoices in a timely manner and maintain accurate inventory of all assigned properties
* Maintain qualifications for employment as described by Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) policy manual and accreditation standards
* Follow rules and regulations as described by TCSG and CTC
* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* State of Georgia Class A Commercial Driver's License
* Documented three (3) years paid, full-time truck driving experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Documented Driver/trainer experience
* Post-secondary teaching experience
* Distance education teaching/learning experience

Salary/Benefits:

Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include state holidays, annual leave, and sick leave, State of Georgia Retirement, Health and Flexible Benefits Program.
