Position Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Electrical Project Supervisor in commercial environments is essential.

Role Responsibilities: In this position, you will be instrumental in the installation of commercial electrical systems. You will also be responsible for effectively leading and supervising a team of 2-3 individuals while upholding rigorous safety and quality standards.

Reporting Structure: You will report directly to Project Managers.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee the installation of electrical systems while guiding a team of electricians and apprentices.
  • Engage with the superintendent to discuss daily objectives and assignments.
  • Ensure that all necessary materials are organized and readily available.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, adhering to OSHA and company regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with the Superintendent regarding task progress.
  • Lead your team to adhere to project timelines.
  • Utilize technology to enhance communication and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations regarding the use of work tools.
  • Interpret Conduit Drawings and Blueprints for accurate installations.
  • Represent 5 Points Electrical with professionalism.
  • Facilitate team efficiency and implement suggestions for improved productivity.
  • Complete and submit all required documentation accurately and promptly.

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • 3 years of electrical experience, preferably in commercial settings.
  • Basic knowledge of low-voltage systems.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Familiarity with the NEC and construction safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical plans.
  • Strong safety awareness.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of the NEC.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting technical plans.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Experience as a superintendent or foreman.
  • Knowledge of prefabrication methods.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification.
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70E standards.
  • Journeyman's or Master Electrician's License.
  • Certification for Scissors Lift/Boom Lift/Telehandler.
  • Experience with low voltage, fire alarm, and lighting control systems.
  • Proficiency in software such as Bluebeam, Field wire, Rexit, Conest, AutoCAD, and BIM.
