Job Type: Permanent
Compensation: $110K - $125K per year
Role Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage electrical projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with corporate engineering teams on capital projects.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for effective planning and execution of maintenance tasks.
- Participate in weekly planning sessions to strategize both short-term and long-term objectives.
- Conduct inspections and provide reports on equipment requiring repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Assist operations and electrical teams in troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Mentor and develop plant electricians to enhance their skills and performance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- Completion of industrial electrical and/or PLC training programs.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
- Ability to swiftly identify problems and implement corrective measures.
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with both unionized and salaried personnel.
- Experience in scheduling and completing maintenance tasks in coordination with production teams.
- Knowledge of labor relations is essential.
- Proficient in using CMMS for work order management and parts procurement.
- Familiarity with plant automation and electrical systems, including pumps and conveyors.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and various network systems.
- Understanding of power distribution systems.
- Ability to provide troubleshooting support to electrical staff.
- Disciplined approach to maintenance scheduling and prioritization.
- Experience in PLC programming and familiarity with Wonderware software.
- Knowledge of the plant's CMMS system is a plus.
