Position Overview
As an Operating Room Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the sanitation and preparation of the surgical suite.
- Maintaining a sterile environment and cleaning surgical instruments.
- Facilitating patient transfers to and from the operating room.
- Supporting the surgical team with patient positioning on the operating table.
- Managing inventory and ensuring the availability of surgical supplies.
- Identifying and reporting any equipment malfunctions.
Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
